My Surveys results
When you're obese you are consuming 30-50% body fat. According to my chart, it looks like most 9Th, 10Th and 11Th graders in my school know that. But if that was the percentage of the United States that knew that, that would be about half of the population that was educated enough on obesity. And being an American, that's not such a good thing since we're considered the most obese country followed by Mexico. 31% of America is obese and that's pretty close to 50%. Unlike most countries such as Japan and Korea we are about 27% higher in obesity. At that, it's kind of a sad thing to be considered an American and knowing that every other country is so much smaller in body fat percentage.

The Basics On Obesity
What is obesity??? Well, it's when your body is consuming 30-50 percent body fat. The problem with being obese is that you will live a shorte
r life span and you won’t have such a full life (not food wise).When your really obese you’re limited on what you can do and that’s a BIG problem too. You may enjoy being obese but deep inside you know it’s a problem. Maybe the problem people might make fun of you but maybe it’s an internal problem. You could have a blood clot of you organs have something wrong. Well this bog will tell you a lot of what you need to know or want to know. I will cover how, when, and why you may start to gain weight and if you’re over weight, obese, or worse. Obesity is a serious topic and should be discussed to inform people how bad it can get and when you should do something about it. I can answer questions like 'how do I know if I'm going to be obese?' and 'how much calories do I consume if I eat this or that?’. Well read the rest of the bogs that might answer your questions so you won’t be the obese one.

America is 31% fat while other countries are around 3%.Why do we have a bigger percentage? Is it because of what we eat or is it because we don't exercise enough??? And do those diet drinks really help your diet? Well David Allison and Scott Keith came up with a couple of studies that cause obesity. They believe inadequate sleep is a cause. Adults should sleep of an average of 6.85 hours a night. As for children they should sleep for more. If a child sleeps too long or not enough they are at a higher risk of becoming obese. Obesity could cause prostate, breast and womb Cancer. While obesity is causing cancer lets focus on what causes obesity...Stress is one way you gain weight or become obese. When you get stressed out for long periods of time you can start to eat more or act different than you normally do. For example you could stop exercising or become REAL lazy and that will slow down your metabolism. This brings us to another way, your metabolism. You metabolism is the main cause for over weightness.Or...obesity could just run in your genes.
